The following things are happening in the Community:

EVENTS:

·BOARD MEETING with Homeowners is Wednesday, September 4th at 6:00pm via MS Teams

·Adults Only night at the pool on September 28th from 6p-11pm, presented by the Social Committee.

o RE: Paxton Access (digital app) to Pool and Sports Court:

In the 2025 Pool Season, you MUST have the Paxton App to enter the pool.  Only one exception will be made per household and documented.

One application should be filled out for each person needing entrance.  Please see the link and attached information about setting up your access to the Sports Court and Pool.  Once you have completed everything, Ashton will send the access to the email address you’ve listed.  Please note you will have to download the Paxton App(instructions attached).Pool Access (travisranchhoa.com)

·THURSDAYS AT THEDOG PARK: Every Thursday at 7pm will be a meet and greet. All attendees must be registered for the park and Volunteers from the Dog Park Committee will be there to assist in the registration process. 2215 Doole Court.

·FORNEY CAREEREXPO:  September11th at the OC Arena–free to job seekers and $50 for business owners looking for employees (see flyer below) sponsored by the Forney Chamber

·Landscape Committee: Needs volunteers to assist with Yard of the Month; and the lawn equipment loan program.  Meetings are the 3rdThursday of the month – in person. Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com)

·Communications Committee: Needs volunteers with social media experience and graphic design skills. Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of the month –in person. Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com)

·Social Committee: Needs volunteers to help plan and execute events – they meet by Zoom/Phone. Next event is Movie night in October with Trunk or Treat (Adult only swim night is already planned).  Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com)

MAINTENANCE UPDATES:

·IRRIGATION LEAKS: There have been several all over the community-Johnson City, Second Pool, etc. due to the dry, settling soil which have been repaired.  Please let us know if you see one in a common area!

·SIGNAGE: New pool rules were installed this week – (still waiting on the electric on pool # 2 – booooo)

·TREES: were trimmed around all the stop/speed signs in the community prior to school starting.

·ATT Box: at Rains County and Grimes Road was replaced finally!

·Large pothole: at Rio Bravo/Catalina was patched.

·TEEN SECTION: We area waiting the picnic tables to install, add granite and finish the electric.

·FM 740 COMMON FENCING: Has been completed! We are getting a bid on the next section from TR Blvd to New Braunfels Trail.

·Little Library: was repaired and is full of books again!

UP NEXT:

  • VOTING: Homeowners will be voting on amending the CCRs in regards to: updated trash can rules; not requiring trees; adding paint colors for doors and additional roof colors and/or materials.  Do you want metal roofs approved?…Stayed tuned for electronic and paper voting.
  • Common fencing at Ringgold / Lake Ray Hubbard Drive will be repaired as some sections are leaning away form homeowners side fencing from the storms and drought.
  • No solicitation signs will be installed.
  • Road Humps have been approved at Fieldcrest on Old Oaks between Lasara Drive and Sunnyside Drive to reduce speeding and cut-through in the neighborhood to Hwy 80 – they will be installed in the coming months per MUD!!!
  • 50/50 sidewalk repair agreement is being approved by MUD to enable the Association to manage the repairs after MUDs approval and then bill MUD and the homeowners their 50/50 portion – we will update once the agreement is completed and begin work on many in the community.
  • Speed limit signs have been marked to be added to all entrances by MUD; additional stop signs will also be added in September.
  • STILL: Coloma/ TR Blvd will be temporarily repaired with tar until a complete repair will be scheduled – MUD is trying to enforce the warranty on these new streets by the builders who poured them. Be careful in the area!!!
  • STILL: 2nd Pool is awaiting the power meter and then the plaster will be poured in the coming weeks.
