Neighbors,
The following projects were completed these last two weeks in the Community:
- Storm damage BULK PICK-UP ON TUESDAY: Please park cars out to of the way or they will not pick up and you will be responsible for removal. Republic is doing extra bulk pick-up on Tuesday for the following streets: Fredonia; Nueces; Comfort; Concon; Crosby; Talpa; Camp Verde; Mule Deer; Johnson City; Hartley; Callahan. Email Charmaine@essexhoa.com if storm damage has not been removed from your home by next week.
- PARTY IN THE PARK: Wednesday, July 24th from 6-8pm: Free Block Party at Travis Ranch at 1000 San Antonio Drive! (see flyer below)
- Adult Night at the Main Pool: Saturday, August 3rd from 6-9pm – 21 and up only! (see flyer below)
- TR Annual Sports Festival: August 9-11 at 1000 San Antonio Drive, Ages: 10-16 registration required (see flyer below and throughout the community).
- The shower at the pool has been repaired.
- No Commercial Vehicle signage has been added to all entrances in all three MUD districts. This will enable the constables to tag commercial vehicles for towing and write tickets for violators.
- Pour and Play rubberized base for the Main Playground will begin on Monday, July 22nd and the park will be closed until August 1st.
- The new school bus spring rocker is being installed today at the main park which allows two riders!
- Teen Section has been marked for excavation which should begin July 29th.
- A trashcan was added on Zapata in Fieldcrest and the dog station repaired.
- The main irrigation line for our community sprinkler system is being repaired behind Lundy Canyon as this water comes from the lake.
- Sunnyside Drive in Fieldcrest is temporarily closed due to construction on Hwy 80 Service Road
- REMINDER: If you are not on the “grandfathered” list approved for leasing, you may not lease your property. We reached our 10% leasing cap in August of 2020. Leasing sites are monitored daily to violate/fine any unauthorized rentals.
- We now have 3208 subscribers to receive communications which is wonderful considering there are 4k homes in Travis Ranch! - Road Humps have been approved at Fieldcrest on Old Oaks between Lasara Drive and Sunnyside Drive to reduce speeding and cut-through in the neighborhood to Hwy 80 – they will be installed in the coming months per MUD!!!
- 50/50 sidewalk repair agreement is being approved by MUD to enable the Association to manage the repairs after MUDs approval and then bill MUD and the homeowners their 50/50 portion – we will update once the agreement is completed and begin work on many in the community.
- FM 740 Common fencing will begin a total replacement from Rains County Road to Silsbee Court on August 1st tentatively.
- Speed limit signs will be added to all entrances by MUD; additional stop signs will also be added in August; no solicitation signs at all entrances (HOA) and no overnight parking signs will be added on common areas (HOA).
- Large potholes at Rio Bravo/Catalina and Coloma/ TR Blvd will be temporarily repaired with tar until a complete repair will be scheduled – MUD is trying to enforce the warranty on these new streets by the builders who poured them. Be careful in these areas!!!
- 2nd Pool is awaiting the plaster being poured and they are behind due to storms, so hopefully very soon.
- Our next Community Garage Sale is scheduled for September 6-9.
- ATT box at Rains County and Grimes Road is being replaced as it cannot be repaired.
- Quarterly Home-Owner meeting to be scheduled soon for an update and to vote on trash can placement; trees in yards; additional colors for front doors and roofs.
