As the Managing Agent for Travis Ranch Property Owners Association Inc., we are pleased to announce that a Virtual Annual Meeting and Election of Members has been scheduled for Thursday, April 11th, 2024, 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to elect five (5) Class A Members to your Association’s Board of Directors and to discuss normal business of the Association. If the quorum for the upcoming meeting is not met, the Board, per the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs”), will adjourn the meeting and immediately reconvene the meeting so the election process may proceed, and the business of the Association can be discussed.
The election meeting cannot be held without the proper quorum; therefore, it is important to understand the voting process. You may cast your electronic ballot, either on the Association’s website or by email or fax. It is not necessary to assign your proxy if you vote electronically as your vote also counts toward the required quorum. If you mail your ballot, please include the proxy and ensure it is signed and dated. Only the Owner of record or the proxy holder may cast a vote, and only one vote per household is accepted. The deadline for voting is Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 5:00 pm. Please be sure your ballot reaches us by then.

What: Meet the Candidates
When: March 9, from 10:00am - Noon
Where: 1000 San Antonio Drive (Pool Pavilion)
How: with Hot chocolate, coffee, and pastries (first come first served)
You will receive packets in the mail with all the information on the candidates and how to vote and attend. After you vote (one vote per household) the five new Board members will be announced at the Virtual Annual Meeting on April 11,2024.
We are excited to organize the first ever meet the candidate event for our upcoming 2024 Homeowner Board election. The two options below were already sent to the Board Candidates and posted here (Forney) Travis Ranch Official Page (Forney) | Facebook. Please share with your neighbors.
Part 1. First part of Meet the Candidate will accommodate people who cannot be at the in-person opportunity. It will be an opportunity for any candidate to send in a video under 10 minutes and have it posted on the official FB page. Travis Ranch Official Page (Forney) | Facebook
1.Video must be 10 minutes or shorter. Suggested content below:
a. Please provide any of following information:
iii. Year of homeowner occupancy in Travis Ranch
iv. Occupation (if retired, state previous occupation)
v. Family members and ages living in your residence
vi. Personal hobbies and interests
2.Please provide your interest and qualifications for applying for Travis Ranch HOA Board Membership
3.How frequently do you converse with neighbors and Travis Ranch homeowners? What have you learned from them about their satisfaction with the Community?
4.What do you see are the biggest concerns to Travis Ranch homeowners and yourself (2 or 3), and how would you suggest solving them?
5.What have you experienced in dealing with either Essex Management and/or the Travis Ranch HOA Board members? Also include feedback you have received from other homeowners.
6.How would you propose to create a better sense of Community within Travis Ranch, and improve HOA Board communications with homeowners?
7.Please state your opinions and thoughts on the current and possible changes to the following areas of Community life in Travis Ranch:

8. Deadline to submit is 72 hours before voting closes.
9. No profanity.
10. Video will be proofed and sent back if it is felt it is not appropriate. Obvious reasons that a video would be sent back is for discrimination or violating a general sense of moral and ethical behavior.
11. Must be in YouTube format so that a link can be pasted to the FB site.
12. It is recommended that candidates cover the questionnaire that will be sent out in the email about the event.
13. It is also encouraged that candidates includecontact information in their video or in the YouTube comments to the video.
14. Comments on FB will be turned off.
Part 2. Of Meet the Candidate will be Popsicles and refreshments at the main pool pavilion. March 9, 2024 10:00 AM to noon. Candidates can come anytime in that time range.
1. Candidates will be allocated space to set up a table.
2. Board member will lock facility at 1:30 PM
Please remind all of your neighbors in the community that this new Board will be governed by HOMEOWNERS and they should come take part in voting for their new leaders!
