Lost Dog!

A fellow homeowner in the Travis Ranch community lost their dog (Allie) on Thursday morning (May 15). Allie is a Miniature Schnauzer in desperate need of a trim. She is also pretty muddy and left her tags behind from digging under the gate of the fence. If you see or have any knowledge on her whereabouts please call the owner, Wynee at 972-955-2299.


Found Bunny!

Neighbors found a gray and white bunny Friday evening (May 16) in their front yard. If you are missing a bunny please call Wynee at 972-955-2299. It will be taken to the Forney Animal Hospital to see if it has a chip or if they have any knowledge on it's owner. In the meantime, it has received very good care.

Travis Ranch HOA - Pool Monitors Wanted Pool Monitors Wanted!

The Board of Directors has elected to use a outside pool monitoring company for the 2014 pool season. If you are interested in being a pool monitor please email Mark at mark@iwantitclean.com for more information.


The five committees of your Travis Ranch HOA need volunteers willing to give a little time to help keep our community a great place to live. Actually, not very much time is required over the year and it can be fun to meet your neighbors! New volunteers along with the current members of these committees are both needed to sign up in order to carry on with supporting our community.

The HOA committees are:

  • Communications Committee - Maintains contact with the other committees. Reports to the Travis Ranch residents about neighborhood problems and promotes HOA events, by the BEACON Newsletter, the HOA website and other media.
  • Crime Watch/Safety Committee - Interacts with local law enforcement, collects information on crime and safety concerns in the Travis Ranch community and promotes continued awareness of how each resident can help to deal with these issues, to meet HOA requirements and maintain a safer community for all residents and their children
  • Landscape Committee - Selects ?Yard of the Month? award. Monitors landscape problems in the community and advises Essex Management on landscaping needs in all the ?common areas? of the community.
  • Pool Committee - Monitors cleanliness, safety and general conditions at our community pool and the surrounding area. Contacts Essex Management regarding necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Social Committee - Organizes, promotes and conducts social events for the community including the two community garage sales, the holiday party, and several others over the year. Personally welcomes every new resident.

Calling all Travis Ranch Volunteers!

As Association Manager for the Travis Ranch Owners? Association, I would like to thank you for your continued support in the Community. Our first meeting will be held at Lewis Elementary on March 4th at 6:30. At the meeting I will formally welcome everyone and go over the roles of each committee. At this time each committee will elect a Chair and discuss any ideas that they have. I will be present during this meeting to answer any questions that may arise. I look forward to working with each and every one of you!

2013 Assessment Update

We are very excited to be the new Management Company for Travis Ranch. Shortly you will be receiving your 2013 annual assessment coupon for the Travis Ranch Property Owners Association. Upon receipt, please mail your payment to the address listed on the statement. The statement does not reflect any past due balances, only the 2013 Assessments. Due to the timing of the transition we are not going to charge late fees until February 28th 2013. If your payment has been made, it has been applied to your account and please disregard this notice.

Welcome to the official website for the Travis Ranch Homeowners Association (TRHOA). The purpose of this website is to communicate news and information to the residents and members of the TRHOA.


The TRHOA  is a non-profit, all-volunteer group of residents that seeks to ensure the safety, enhance the beauty, and encourage the community spirit of the Travis Ranch Community. 
 


 

About the Community


We are a Master Planned Community with a
spectacular view of Lake Ray Hubbard and in the distance, the skyline of Downtown Dallas. Our residents will enjoy a large community pool, a splash park, a spacious covered pavilion and tot lot, an in-line hockey rink, sports fields and a playground area. The new John M. Lewis Elementary School is located on-site and serves the residents of Travis Ranch which will give our children first-class education as they attend schools of the highly-acclaimed Forney ISD.  


We would like to welcome all the new homeowners to Travis Ranch. A new homeowner’s packet will be mailed to you within 30 days of your move-in date. If you have any questions, please contact the Welcome Committee at welcome@travisranchhoa.com.

Trash Collection:     Republic Services/972-225-4207

Recycling:       every other Wednesday. Brush/leaves are picked up the 1st Wednesday (must be cut and tied in bundles not to exceed 35 lbs/bundle

Trash Day:     Wednesday

Trash Time:    All Carts MUST be set out on the Curb no later than 7:00a.m.Wednesday morning.

Questions:      Please Call the above number to receive trash carts or for service questions.  There is no deposit required for trash carts.

Note:   Only trash in the trash carts will be removed.  Trash left on the curb next to a cart will NOT be removed (except for a one time pickup of trash and boxes due to moving in).  If additional trash carts are required please contact Allied Waste Services.  Additional trash carts cost $5.41 per cart
per month.
